This has to do with mindset. And you have the power to change your mindset this very minute. You need first to change your terminology, your understanding and your self-awareness. Suddenly, you never need to diet again. Monday morning or any morning! Right now, you can begin your weight-loss journey, without the gruelling diet mentality and punishing terminology.
It can’t be this simple! Can it?

Step 1
Stop dieting. You’ve given that your best shot. What has been the result? Yes, you have learned that you can lose weight. But have you forgotten how fast that weight piles back on as soon as you resume normality? Given time, this has been your pattern. Why? Because you’ve suspended your reality through dogged discipline. This fades. Sadly. But it does. So give that up. Tell yourself this minute “I do not diet”. You deserve so much more joy in every bite than the negative connotation associated with dieting.

Understand right now that “every bite I eat is an opportunity to build the best version of me”. Every meal, every snack, every decision is a positive opportunity to build the cells, the tissue and the form of the best, fittest, most fabulous me!
Logic that if you were to build your new dream home with the cheapest, shoddiest of materials, the thing would both look cheap, poorly built and questionably solid and when it comes under duress it would crumble. This is you. You rebuild every single cell in your body every single year. Who do I CHOOSE to be, right now, from now on, for the rest of my life? Health is a daily choice. My weight is a daily choice. I begin to choose better today.
