Since 2007 I have delivered group weight-loss programs in the workplace setting, as a target audience with challenges specific to their lifestyle. Whether staff travel frequently, sit all day, or work shift, I can tailor weight-loss and wellbeing programs to your specific needs.
One size does not fit all.
I have learnt as much from the groups I have facilitated as they have from me. My first book; The Food Nanny (2012), came about as a result of question-time at the end of large "lunch & learn" sessions I ran in many large corporate organizations. It turns out that many of the hundreds of attendees were parents. While they felt motivated to make changes to their own habits, they wanted to know how to bring those new habits into their home-life and how to best educate their kids.
Equally, my book Say No To Menopause Weight Gain (2022) resulted form the many questions posed by midlife women in many organizations. The group dynamic can foster a sense of commonality where issues are raised and specifically dealt with through that forum. There is no diet question I have not met! In a supportive group environment people get the help they may have been floundering without.
This approach sets up a very different dynamic to a generic on-line course. I run weekly (usually over 6 - 8 weeks) Zoom calls with twenty (or so) attendees who get to have their questions answered as they arise. From a staff wellbeing and productivity perspective this represents really good value.
